For many centuries, two secret Orders (Light & Dark) created EGREGORS, securing them with the help of symbols in the form of Egyptian obelisks and pyramids around the world. There are 99 of them that exist at present, and it is the 100th EGREGOR that must close the circle. Thus the Orders will be able to change the collective group mindset around the world. Yet the purposes of the Orders are different – the Dark Order, headed by Professor Potocki, whose portrait hangs in the Louvre, dreams of world domination of darkness and evil, while the Light Order wants to elevate humanity and peace to a totally new level.
However, in order to gain control of the 100th EGREGOR, it must be installed in a ‘selected human body’. For many years the Orders have developed this technology but it is only in our time that they acquired the capability to make it possible to identify the right person who would be capable of withstanding the physically demanding integration process of becoming the 100th EGREGOR. This person turns out to be a seven-year-old boy from the family of a flight Engineer who lives in Ukraine and knows nothing of his son’s importance to the Orders.
The Prior of the Light Order manages to prevent the carefully thought-out plan of the Dark Order to kidnap the boy, and hides him from Professor Potocki in their castle in France. Potocki is forced to trick the genius boy’s father Victor Grabowski into stealing his son from the Light Priory.
Victor sincerely believes that the Professor is on his side. But when Victor succeeds in fulfilling Professor Potocki’s plan, Potocki himself takes his son away and plots the arrest of Grabowski to hold the rite of initiation, as it was intended.
After Victor loses all hope to return his son, the Prior of the Light Order and a smart female Detective from Interpol (Roksana Bart, who has been intrigued by the case for many years and features in the early part of the story as well) come to his aid. All together they manage to rescue the child and stop the imminent collapse of civilization at the very last moment.
The concept of the movie Egregor is built upon the HUNDREDTH MONKEY THEORY The experiment was carried out in the mid 1970’s by Lawrence Blair and Lyall Watson. It was the result of interest in the phenomenon of similar ideas, which simultaneously crossed people’s minds while being strangers from different parts of the world...
